"pelsee" is an Internet driving recorder application. In accordance with the law, we will collect, use, retain and disclose your personal information under certain circumstances. The following terms and conditions describe how we collect, use, retain and disclose your personal information.

You do not need a user account to use this application. If you want to use more features of the application, you can register with this application and provide your personal information. You must commit and ensure that:

1.2.1. To achieve the purpose of the service of "pelsee" , "pelsee" will collect your personal information through technical means, which is restricted to the necessary information such as your phone ID, driving recorder ID and usage time.

1.2.2. We collect the device's MAC address solely to uniquely identify the phone. This helps us gather app error logs and analyze issues specific to each device environment, allowing us to improve the app and deliver a better user experience.

1.2.3. When connecting to dash cams using HiSilicon or similar solutions, the dash cam requires the app to register the phone's IP address. This prevents other network devices that do not support the dash cam protocol from accessing the device. During the connection process, the app retrieves the phone's current IP, which is a local network IP assigned by the dash cam. This information is used only for connection purposes and does not affect user privacy.

1.2.4. Accessing the List of Installed Apps: We access the list of installed applications to display all available apps that support sharing when users choose to share videos or photos. This allows us to provide a smoother and more convenient sharing experience.

1.2.5. Accessing or Deleting Files in Phone Storage: We require storage access permission to save photos and videos transferred from the dash cam or other devices to a designated folder on the phone, allowing them to appear in the phone's gallery. The app also provides the ability to delete these saved photos and videos directly within the app.

1.2.6. Accessing Information on Running Processes: We access information about currently running processes to determine whether the app is operating in the foreground. This allows the app to properly handle device-related tasks (such as disconnecting the live view) when it switches to the background.

1.2.7. Using the in-app clipboard feature: When the user copies information such as their email address, other contact details, or the device version number, the clipboard feature helps them quickly provide this information for after-sales support.

1.2.8. We access the BSSID and SSID to determine whether the phone is currently connected to the dash cam' WiFi network when the app attempts to connect to the device. If it is already connected, the app can communicate with the device directly without redirecting the user to the system WiFi settings page.

1.3. To be provided by the user

1.3.1. The information you provided will be kept confidential by "pelsee" by fulfilling its commercially reasonable obligations to the utmost. With your consent, "pelsee" will provide you with news, information, and application upgrading and other services.

1.4. Other Information of yours

For your convenient use of "pelsee" application, our server will collect the information about your mobile device, such as model number, device ID, Internet Protocol address, the time and place of your visit, routing packets, the data of the information sender and receiver (not the information itself), and other similar characteristics recorded. We will use Cookies and navigation data similar to Uniform Resource Locator (URL) to collect your access time and date, the information you searched and viewed, etc.

2. Use of Personal Information

2.1. Except the circumstance that this privacy policy does not specify or the first notification to you of the update of this privacy policy fails, your personal information will not be used for other purposes.

2.2. Anonymous aggregated statistic data is not the Personal User Information defined by "pelsee". We will save and use this type of information for multiple purposes, including but not limited to the reports of analysis and usage patterns. "pelsee" reserves the right to use and disclose the anonymous aggregated statistic data for any purpose or to unilaterally license third parties to do so.
